The Mongoose Mug is the second in our series of Hawaiian animals and was inspired by “Rikki-Tikki-Tavi”— a short story in the 1894 collection The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about the adventures of a valiant young grey mongoose.
This hand-crafted original design was envisioned by Wilfred’s Lounge Proprietor, tiki enthusiast, and Wilfred’s nephew Nat Komes, designed by Tank, and made by the world-famous Tiki Farm.
This one-of-kind mug captures the epic battle between the mongoose and the snake on a lava rock background. The matte finish highlights the red eye of the doomed snake. A cocktail in this mug will certainly deliver a powerful bite!
